Brogue PE is a free, single-player Android game designed to work entirely offline. It does not collect or transmit personal information.
This Privacy Policy applies to Brogue PE for Android. It describes how information is handled when you use the app.
Brogue PE does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal or sensitive user data.
The app:
To provide normal game features, Brogue PE stores gameplay information locally in the app's private storage. This can include saved games, recordings, high scores, gameplay statistics, and settings. This information is used only to run the game and restore your preferences or progress. It is not sent to the developer or any third party by the app.
Android system backup: Depending on your device and account settings, Android may include the app's local data in a system-managed backup. Backup and restore are performed by Android and your selected backup provider, not by Brogue PE. The developer cannot access these backups.
If you obtain the app through Google Play, Google may independently process information related to installing and operating apps and may provide the developer with aggregate store statistics or diagnostics. That processing is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies. Brogue PE does not add personal information to those services.
Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is deleted through the game, cleared through Android's app settings, or removed when you uninstall the app. A system backup may later restore some local data after reinstallation. You can manage or disable backups through your Android device or account settings. Retention by a backup provider is governed by that provider's policies.
Because the developer does not receive or store user data, there is no server-side account or personal-data record to delete.
Brogue PE keeps its gameplay files and preferences in app-private storage protected by Android's application sandbox. The app does not transmit that information over a network and does not maintain a remote copy. Device security also depends on Android and your device configuration, so keeping your operating system up to date is recommended.
Brogue PE does not collect personal information from children or from any other users. The same no-collection practices described in this policy apply to everyone.
This policy may be updated if the app’s features or data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. If a future version collects data, this policy will be updated before that collection begins.
